How to Choose Your Options

Ram transmission tuning: Transmission/TCM tuning is available only for a 68RFE-equipped Ram and only when the exact option specifically adds it. Aisin and G56/manual selections receive engine tuning only.

• Transmission selection: Select G56/manual, 68RFE, or Aisin only when it matches the transmission physically installed in the truck. Only a selected 68RFE transmission-tuning option can include a TCM calibration. Aisin and G56/manual selections are engine-tuning-only.
• TCM/transmission tuning: A no-transmission-tuning selection includes engine tuning only. An add-transmission-tuning selection applies only to a 68RFE-equipped truck and includes a 68RFE calibration only when the exact option says it is added or included.
• Tune quantity: Single Tune supplies one calibration for the selected setup. SOTF/Multi-Tune + Switch provides multiple tune positions and the listed switch so supported calibrations can be changed without reflashing the truck.
• Year/unlock choice: 2013/2014–2017 choices use the earlier configuration. 2018 + Unlock Cable is the 2018 configuration and includes or requires the unlock cable stated in the option. Select the option that matches the truck’s model year.
