Emissions compliance and lawful use
Federal law may prohibit removing, disabling, bypassing, or rendering inoperative required emissions controls and may also prohibit manufacturing, selling, offering for sale, or installing a part whose principal effect is to defeat those controls when the seller knows or should know it will be used that way.
Products must be purchased, installed, configured, and used only when lawful for the specific vehicle, engine, location, and intended use. State, provincial, territorial, local, inspection, registration, import, export, and competition rules may impose additional restrictions.
Calling a product “race,” “competition,” “off-road,” or “for export” does not by itself make an otherwise prohibited product, sale, installation, or use legal. A vehicle originally certified for public-road use does not necessarily become exempt merely because it is later used off road or in competition.
Do not order, install, or use any product to tamper with required emissions equipment, defeat onboard diagnostics, conceal a malfunction, evade inspection, or operate a noncompliant vehicle on public roads.
Performance-product and tuning risks
Performance parts and calibrations can change horsepower, torque, boost, fueling, exhaust temperature, transmission behavior, braking feel, noise, fuel economy, towing characteristics, reliability, and component life. Results vary with vehicle condition, configuration, fuel, altitude, weather, load, driving style, supporting modifications, and calibration.
No horsepower, torque, mileage, temperature, towing, reliability, or other performance result is guaranteed unless a written product-specific guarantee expressly says so. Marketing estimates, customer results, dyno figures, photos, videos, reviews, and examples are not promises that another vehicle will produce the same result.
Use may expose the driver, passengers, installers, bystanders, vehicle, and property to risks including loss of control, fire, burns, exhaust exposure, component failure, engine or transmission damage, personal injury, and death. Never disable factory safety systems. Operate within the ratings of the vehicle, tires, brakes, hitch, drivetrain, and installed components.
Fitment and customer-supplied information
Fitment can depend on the exact model year, build date, make, model, engine, emissions family, drivetrain, transmission, cab/chassis configuration, wheelbase, bed length, VIN, ECU strategy, tuner serial number, existing modifications, and selected options. Similar-looking vehicles may use different parts.
Truck selectors, filters, photos, titles, year ranges, recommendations, and VIN decoding are shopping aids—not a fitment guarantee. Before opening, flashing, altering, or installing a product, compare the part number and specifications with the vehicle, manufacturer instructions, labels, connectors, and existing hardware.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. An incorrect or incomplete VIN, vehicle description, strategy code, serial number, modification list, shipping address, or option can cause delays, incorrect fulfillment, added charges, or an ineligible return. If a VIN cannot be automatically verified and you choose manual review, an incorrect VIN may delay the order by 1–3 business days while we contact you.
Installation, diagnostics, and vehicle condition
Professional installation by a qualified technician is strongly recommended. Installation instructions are general guidance and may not cover every configuration, prior repair, corrosion issue, software version, or hazard. Use proper tools, lifting equipment, personal protective equipment, ventilation, battery support, torque specifications, and manufacturer procedures.
Inspect and diagnose the vehicle before installation. Do not use a performance product to mask an existing fault. Weak batteries, wiring problems, leaks, damaged connectors, active trouble codes, failing turbochargers, injectors, fuel systems, transmissions, cooling systems, or other mechanical problems should be corrected first.
Stop immediately if instructions conflict with the vehicle, parts do not match, a flash is interrupted, warning lights appear, temperatures become abnormal, or the vehicle behaves unexpectedly. Do not drive an unsafe vehicle. Installation labor, diagnostics, towing, downtime, fluids, shop charges, and damage to other components are not automatically covered by a product warranty.
Tuners, tunes, unlocks, and digital products
Tune files, licenses, unlocks, credits, subscriptions, and VIN- or serial-matched software may be nontransferable, vehicle-specific, device-specific, time-limited, or subject to manufacturer terms. They may become nonreturnable once issued, downloaded, activated, married to a vehicle, or used.
Do not disconnect a device, remove power, allow voltage to fall, or interrupt a flash unless the manufacturer directs you to do so. Keep the original file and recovery information where supported. Updates from a vehicle manufacturer, tuner manufacturer, or third-party service may overwrite a calibration, change compatibility, require relicensing, or require an additional fee.
You may not copy, share, resell, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or use tune files or licensed software on an unauthorized vehicle or device. Access to third-party servers, clouds, apps, or update tools is controlled by their provider and is not guaranteed to remain continuously available.
Warranty and manufacturer coverage
Warranty coverage is product-specific. The warranty shown on the product page or supplied by the manufacturer at the time of purchase controls. Some products are covered only by the manufacturer; some tuning or software products may carry a stated limited warranty; and some products or services may have no additional written warranty.
Coverage may require proof of purchase, photos, diagnostic information, return authorization, and inspection. Normal wear, cosmetic changes, consumables, improper installation, accident, misuse, abuse, racing, overheating, contamination, corrosion, incompatible parts, unauthorized repair, altered software, or use outside documented specifications may be excluded to the extent allowed by the applicable warranty and law.
A performance modification may affect a vehicle or component manufacturer’s warranty, insurance, lease, financing, inspection, or registration. Unlimited Diesels cannot decide another company’s coverage. Nothing on this page disclaims or limits an implied warranty or other consumer right that cannot legally be disclaimed or limited.
VIN lookup and privacy
When you use a VIN field, the 17-character VIN is sent to the lookup service configured by Unlimited Diesels and may also be submitted to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vPIC decoder when the first service cannot identify the vehicle. The lookup is used to identify details such as year, make, model, engine, and potential fitment.
VIN decoder information comes from manufacturer-submitted and third-party records and can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. It does not reveal every factory option, later modification, calibration, emissions configuration, or current vehicle condition. You must review the result before relying on it.
VINs, decoded vehicle details, order information, contact information, device identifiers, and modification notes may be used to process and support an order, prevent fraud, document customer instructions, and improve fitment. Do not submit information you are not authorized to provide. See the store Privacy Policy for additional information about collection, use, retention, and applicable privacy choices.
Website, content, and third parties
We work to keep prices, inventory, specifications, photos, compatibility, delivery estimates, and content accurate, but errors and delays can occur. Photos may show optional, prototype, discontinued, bundled, or separately sold items. Colors and appearance vary by screen and production batch. We may correct errors, update content, limit quantities, refuse service, or cancel and refund an affected order.
Manufacturer names, vehicle names, trademarks, logos, and part numbers belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and compatibility information. Their use does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

Limits, responsibility, and preserved rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you are responsible for selecting, installing, configuring, maintaining, and using products safely and legally. Unlimited Diesels is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate customer information, unauthorized or unlawful use, improper installation, ignored instructions, vehicle defects, third-party services, or modifications made after delivery.
Any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law. Nothing in these notices excludes liability or a warranty, remedy, or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded. If part of a notice is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
These notices supplement the Terms of Service, Refund Policy, product page, checkout disclosures, and any manufacturer documentation.
